Wavy curve method

 Basic Inequalities

If a>b then

a+c>b+c

a-c>b-c

ac>bc if c is positive

ac<bc if c is negative

There are 5 inequality symbols,

These inequality symbols are: less than (<), greater than (>), less than or equal (), greater than or equal () and the not equal symbol ().

Intervals in Mathematics

In mathematics real interval is a set of real number that contains all real number lying between any two numbers of the set.

Intervals notation

 Suppose 1 ≤ x < 3, then we represent it by x∈ (belongs to symbol is ∈)  [1,3)

So you can conclude that the symbol [ / ] means the point is included and

"( "/ ") " this symbol means the point is not included.

Wavy curve method

Please click on the above given link, we are preparing the post on wavy curve method,  hopefully within 2 days it will be ready but if you are not aware of the theory please refer to the above given link.
